This is the Jukebox project I'm currently working on.  I started off by designing my own plans, trying to keep the whole thing pretty slim, but also, big enough to accommodate a 19" monitor.

So Far I've learned:
Jukeboxes, while simpler than an Arcade Machine, are still hard to build.
A "catch and double rollers" is stupidest way to hold something together.
Sometimes Freeware authors deserve money more than the guys who charge for it.

Check out this VIDEO of the Jukebox in action!

The sides, cut out

This is the Base that the Juke will be built around. Rollers are important so I can move pinball machines pase where it will rest.

Different shot of the base, showing off the casters.

Here are the sides mounted on the base.

I added a back and the HUGE brackets to hold the monitor. I can't decide if I want to go with 1 or 2.

Straight on shot with 2 monitors

Here's a picture with one 19" monitor vs the 2 17"s. Also note I added the front bottom part of the cabinet.

The back of the cabinet is open right now. I'm trying to see if I'll have enough wood to close up that hole.

The idea is to make this Jukebox spending as little as possible. This shows that the monitor fits in the cab.

Another pictures of the monitor.

I added the little slanted part at the front.

Another picture of that new front part.

Last One.

Jukebox with front cover panel on. Haven't cut any holes for monitor or speakers yet..but first things first.

Inside the cabinet with the Catch Doublerollers holding the front on.

The front Panel showing all it's catches in it.

Close up of the Catch and the Double Rollers.

Got the hole cut for the monitor. Looks pretty good I think.

Angled shot of the monitor hole.

Who says you need a brain to use a routher? looks good to me!

Installed buttons. Not too bad.

Here's the one with the Yellow Arrorws installed, for page flipping.

These buttons look crooked as hell. I can't tell if they actually are though. That's what happens when you do too much in a day.

a large part of what I wanted to do was create something that would spein CDs at the top of the jukebox, I got some motors and Gears to acomplis this.

this kind of shows how I elevated the gears with washers to emilinate noise

It's getting closer to being compete

just another shot

This gives a pretty good indication of what it'll look like when it's done. Just have to add a few more things
