This is freakin' amazing to me. I'm getting heavy into Pinballs again and I decided I'm going to fix the F-14 Tomcat I bought almost 2 years ago. When I went to start working under the playfield I realized it was going to be a horrible experience. Having recently watched This Old Pinball (volume 7) I knew there was something created to hold your Pinball Playfield that would allow you full access to the top and bottom of it with ease. Bit Of Leisure Using Ed Cheung's basic starting point, I ran to Lowe's this afternoon and spent about $80 on wood and plumbing stuff and screws and bolts and nuts. I got home and didn't really have any plans but I had an idea in my head that I thought MIGHT work. Every table in my house ends up being a drop off spot for crap. Everything gets dumped anywhere it can. If I tried attaching something like this to a table in the house, that table would be inaccessible for months. Instead I chose to make a virtually stand alone rotisserie where I could pull a chair up to it to work. Here's what happened when I started cutting: |
